You may also see oven door hinges or door hinge mounting brackets bonded to a door glass as well. Again, you must allow the time to cure the bonding agent when you replce or refit these or they will fall off.

12/26/2017 · Why Oven Door Glasses Shatter. 26/12/2017. Despite the fact that solidified oven door glass is an extremely strong, durable & tenacious material, it, unfortunately, breaks from time to time.Of course, this is regardless of every precaution being taken to prevent them from shattering.
My oven door exploded. Not happy as the oven isn’t old. Contacted zanussi. The person who dealt with this was extremely helpful. Sorted out the repair. The engineer kept in touch with me. Came before the alloted day as they’d had a cancellation. Kept in touch by phone. Unfortunately the wrong glass was brought but he took ownership of the job.
